WEIRD NEWS: Gold Nearly Rectum

An alleged smuggler was stopped by security at the airport in New Delhi, Indiana with about $40,000 worth of melted down gold hidden under his wig and inside his rectum.

Customs officials suspected he was hiding something underneath his hairpiece and was ordered to undergo a body search. That’s when they discovered a pouch of gold glued to his bald head with a wig covering it. They found other capsule-shaped pouches of gold hidden inside his rectum. While it’s not illegal to carry gold, travelers are required to declare the quantity and pay taxes on it. Authorities released a video showing the wig being cut away from the man’s head to expose the pouch of gold. (Insider)
