SHERRI SHEPHERD: Finalizing Talk Show Deal

Starting in two weeks, Sherri Shepherd will become the “permanent guest host” of The Wendy Williams Show.

Eventually, Sherri will become the permanent host. She’s finalizing a deal to take-over the daytime talk show this September. Sherri would start fulltime if Wendy cannot make the call. Naturally, the show would be renamed and syndicated on FOX stations.

The big question remains if Wendy will be healthy enough by September to return to her purple chair. Insiders say the talk show is hers to lose. (Deadline)
