The defense rested on Friday in the federal trial of R. Kelly. The judge prepped the court for closing arguments this week followed by jury deliberation. It’s possible that R. Kelly learns his fate this week. Federal prosecutors charged him with 13 counts including child porn, sexual activity with minors and obstructing the investigation into R. He filed a $20 million lawsuit claiming that Dennis Sanchez has continued to harass him and “besiege” him with a dozen texts daily. A Pennsylvania woman on a Royal Caribbean cruise with her family was killed in a shark attack while on a snorkeling excursion. The 58-year-old booked an independent snorkeling excursion at a popular spot in the northern Bahamas and was in the water when a bull shark appeared and attacked her. The Weeknd abruptly ended his second Los Angeles show because he lost his voice after just the third song. That date has yet to be rescheduled. Olympic sprinter and former Texas A&M star Shavez Hart was tragically shot and killed after allegedly trying to break up a fight outside of a nightclub in the Bahamas on Saturday.
